For the first time ever, Santa will be stopping by the San Leandro Historical Railway Society to run his trains during our 2014 Winter Open House! He’ll be running his trains in his “train shop casual” attire and taking pictures with any boys or girls who want to tell him what they want for Christmas! For a $10 donation, you’ll receive a 5” x 7” glossy photo and Santa will help us with our wish of painting our 116-year-old Depot!
Our 2014 Winter Open House and Train Show will happen December 13th & 14th from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM both days. We will also have our bake sale, train sale, and offering raffle tickets for some awesome prizes - just in time for the holidays! Our train sale will feature a limited number of the classic hickory stripe train engineer hats for sale for the little tykes for just $5. Santa will be running his trains both Saturday and Sunday, with ample breaks to talk to the kids and take photos.
