Bun Mee Announces Plans to Open Financial District Location

Pacific Heights bánh mì sandwich shop Bun Mee announced plans this week to open a second location in the Financial District.

The popular sandwich shop on upper Fillmore first opened in 2011, drawing crowds with its version—with some modern twists—of the popular sandwich, more commonly found in the Tenderloin’s Little Saigon neighborhood.

“The decision to come to the Financial District was an easy one for us since so many of our loyal patrons work in the area, we wanted to provide a more convenient location for them to dine with us,” said founder Denise Tran in a release.

At 1,600-square-feet, the new location on at 660 Market, Unit 650, between 2nd and 3rd streets, will be twice the size of the Fillmore Street location with 35 seats and a grab-and-go station for takeout.
