Photos: Outside Lands Day 1 With Pretty Lights, Nile Rodgers, Jessie Ware and More

Friday at Outside Lands was arguably the highlight of the weekend with Sir Paul McCartney holding court for almost three hours and drawing the biggest crowd we have ever seen at one stage at the festival.

Before McCartney took the stage, the ladies of Outside Lands ruled the day. Wild Belle started early with hints of reggae coaxing brief moments of sunshine, Jessie Ware started a dance party and Nile Rodgers, with two female vocalists switching most of the lead duties, kept the party going as he blasted through his deep catalog of hits.
