Sasquatch! Expands to Two Weekends
Sasquatch! Music Festival in Washington State announced today it is following in Coachella’s footsteps with a two-weekend festival planned for 2014.
An interesting twist with the announcement is that, unlike Coachella, held on back-to-back weekends, the two scheduled weekends for Sasquatch! are more than month apart on May 23-25 and July 4-6 and each weekend will feature different bands.
The festival at Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Wash., was previously held over Memorial Day weekend and lasted three or four days. The second date for 2014 falls on Fourth of July weekend, making it potentially the most patriotic rock n roll festival in the United States.
Tickets for this past year’s edition sold out in 90 minutes thanks to major headliners such as Mumford & Sons, Postal Service and Vampire Weekend.
