The Chase Continues with Beautiful Swimmers at Public Works

The Chase returns to Public Works this Friday, March 1, with the tasteful selections of Washington D.C.’s Beautiful Swimmers and support from resident, Ash Williams, Conor, and visuals from Caitlin Denny.

Beautiful Swimmers is the champion disco duo of Ari Goldman and Andrew Field-Pickering—the latter of whom has been taking off with his Maximillion Dunbar alias. Andrew is also responsible for the Future Times imprint, along with Protect-U’s Mike Petillo, which was featured as Resident Advisor’s label of the month last February. It’s no surprise that the boys took up the task as dance music curators given their long history of digging through record shops together. As seasoned selectors, they’ve managed to hone in on a quirky blend of house, disco, and beyond that’s difficult to peg style-wise, but driven by solid sanguine vibes.

Andrew released his latest full length, House of Woo, earlier this month on RVNG International to much acclaim from media outlets such as XLR8R, Dummy Mag, Pitchfork, and Resident Advisor.
