Public Works Holiday Party

Holidays and happy music go together hand-in-hand, but how about some “happy house” to get the party started? This Saturday, 12/22, Public Works hosts their annual Christmas celebration with DJ sets from The Juan Maclean (Juan Maclean and Nancy Whang), Pat Mahoney (LCD Soundsystem), No Regular Play and more.

If you missed LCD Soundsystem’s Pat and Nancy’s set last week at Public Works, there is no reason to miss them again for an encore presentation this week. Known for their vast record collections and worldly travels, Pat and Nancy are just overall awesome people that have sold-out Public Works each time they’ve been here.

No Regular Play will be celebrating their S.F. album release party as well. NRP are a hybrid live/DJ act – they perform with live trumpet and vocals (courtesy of Greg Paulus – who has toured with Beirut) overlaying self-produced beats. Check out their set from Boiler Room.

Also performing will be local acts Bells and Whistles, Nick Monaco, Eug, Gordo Cabeza, and Peter Blick. If all that doesn’t give you those feel-good vibes, the party will also be benefiting local non-profits Root Division and SF Smiles.

Some other perks include:

Free Holiday drinks like spiced/spiked apple cider will be provided from 9-10pm. After that, continue your merriment with $3 drinks all night long.

RSVP here and it’s FREE before 10pm if you DONATE winter clothing for SF Smiles!
