Late Night Ramen Pop-Up in Oakland

Ramen – the perfect cure for a late night of drinking and partying. Satisfying in every sense of the word. Now, folks in the East Bay have a new late night spot to fill their craving.

Chef Kyle Itani of Hopscotch is hosting a “pop-up” in his own restaurant. Starting this Friday (October 26) from 11:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. (or until all the ramen is sold), Itani will be cooking up bowls for hungry patrons. There will be two options: veggie and pork. Itani said he plans on making about 100 bowls. Hopscotch’s full bar will also be open along with pitchers of Asahi on draft.

“I was walking around with my friends in Oakland and we kept looking for a late night place to eat. So one of my friends mentioned that he thought I should start serving up ramen and I loved the idea,” said Itani.

With the Fox Theater, Paramount Theater and New Parish all in the general vicinity, along with the hugely popular Art Murmurs on Fridays, Hopscotch is ready to fill the bellies of hungry night wanderers on Fridays.

Hopscotch is located at 1915 San Pablo Avenue in Oakland.
