Marina Family Fest with Food Trucks on Sunday

The 2nd Annual Marina Family Fest is happening on Sunday, September 30, 2012 from 11 am to 5 pm, on the Marina Green lawn. Organized by the Marina Community Association and open to the public.

Kids activities include several bounce houses, face painting, balloon artists, and a petting zoo. Access to activities costs between $1 and $5. Save by purchasing an unlimited activities wristband for $10 at this link.

This family friendly event features a beer and wine garden, to keep adults busy while their children have fun in the playground. As well as tasty grub from food trucks: Little Green Cyclo, El Tonayense, Frozen Kuhsterd (Blue Bottle coffee, Vanilla Bean, and Honey Graham Cracker flavors), and local vendors: Hole in the Wall Pizza, and Cooking with Pina and Aroma.

In addition, a San Francisco Fire Department’s barge will put a water show on the waterfront at around 2 pm. And the Blue Bear School of Music’s “Flaming Horizons” youth band will be performing from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.

All proceeds benefit the Blue Bear School of Music Youth Programs.
