More Drinking in Hayes Valley as Dobbs Bar Opens
Hayes Valley restaurant Dobbs Ferry has reconfigured its back room—formerly intended to be a private dining space—into a sports bar called Dobbs Bar.
Now open, the full bar offers a liquor shot list, eight beers on tap, with select wines. There will also be bar bites from the restaurant’s menu available and six television screens to root for your favorite local team.
Dobbs Bar is a welcome addition to the cozy neighborhood better-known for coffee and specialty shops. “Hayes Valley has so many great little restaurants and cafes; we felt like all that was missing was a little watering hole,” says co-owner Scott Broccoli.
Dobbs Bar is open Monday to Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 1:45 a.m., Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 1:45 a.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 1:45 a.m.
