2012 Olympics Viewing Party

The San Francisco Recreation and Park Department hosts viewing parties for the 2012 Olympics on August 7 and August 11. A large projection screen will show the action from London while attendees enjoy games, gourmet food and activities for children.

Pistahan 2012: Filipino Culture Fest

The 19th Annual Pistahan Parade and Festival is expected to bring 70,000 visitors to Yerba Buena Gardens for the largest Filipino celebration outside of the Philippines. Mayor Ed Lee will judge an Adobe Cook-Off while attendees take in live music, Filipino food vendors, and art.
