Bonjour, Chez Maman West
This week, Hayes Valley welcomes a new restaurant with the opening of Chez Maman West, an extension of the original Portero Hill bistro.
The restaurant, headed by Chef Russell Cab, features a comprehensive menu of appetizers, salads, ritapaninis, crepes, mussels and traditional entrees. The menu also incorporates tacos, burritos and quadadillas from Papito. Chez Maman West will also be serving brunch, including a variety of egg dishes. And for those looking for a new bar destination, Chez Maman West offers forty different wines, plus margaritas, Bloody Marys, and sangria.
The French-style bistro is now open at 401 Gough Street from 11:30am until 11:00pm on weekdays, and 10:30am until 11:00pm on weekends. Seating is on a first come, first served basis; reservations are not currently accepted.
