Old World Food Truck Launches the Actual Truck!

Old World Food Truck

For the last year, Chef Kenny Hockert has been setting up shop at La Victoria Bakery every Wednesday to show off the traditional cooking of the Old World Food Truck. Finally, the time has come for the Chef to debut the real deal: the kitchen on wheels. This Saturday, June 2, join the Old World Food Truck for their official launch party.

The Old World Food Truck has been churning out traditional Jewish cuisine–call it “soul food” if you will–to the masses from La Victoria Bakery. From holiday meals to borscht nights, Chef Kenny Hockert and team have been introducing San Franciscans to kreplach, blintzes, schnitzel and pierogi. After a long wait, they finally have a truck and will be able to reach wider audiences.

This Saturday, June 2, join the team for their kick-off celebration. The party starts at 5:30pm at the Mission Dispatch Food Truck Pod; $15 tickets include Eastern European and Jewish bites plus drinks from Schmaltz Brewing Company.
