After 7 years, the proud promoters and DJs behind [KONTROL] are putting an end to their monthly. Greg Bird founded [KONTROL] in 2005 with the intention of providing a space for underground minimal techno and leftfield house music. Since then, he and fellow promoters/DJs Alland Byallo, Craig Kuna, Sammy Doyle, and Nikola Baytala have brought in a variety of talent, such as Ben Klock, Dixon, Speedy J, Martin Landsky, and Marcel Dettman, acting as a liaison for acclaimed electronic music artists from Europe and elsewhere.

Through its course, the boys behind [KONTROL] have done a great job as tastemakers and have watched the city bloom with like-minded promoters who are interested in drawing in similar artists. Now that the scene has expanded, they are ready to let go and focus on their own projects for a while.
