Half Moon Bay Brewing Company Celebrating Through the Summer

The Half Moon Bay Brewing Company is celebrating its 12th anniversary this year with a number of specials and events throughout the spring and summer months.

For the rest of the month of May, kids 12 and under can eat free with the purchase of one adult entree per child. The offer is good Monday-Thursday.

As an ode to the kickoff of salmon season, Chef Gaston Alfaro is offering up his own unique special. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, guests can order fresh-off-the boat salmon any way they like, with a choice of two sides. Offer available through the end of salmon season.

On Friday, June 15, Chef Alfaro is sharing his kitchen with a special guest: Brazilian chef Marx Passos, former chef to the 1994 World Cup-winning Brazilian Soccer Team and currently chef and owner of Novato Cafe. Along with plenty of Brazilian specials on “A Night in Brazil,” there will be a musical performance to boot.

And perhaps the biggest celebration of all will be on Wednesday, June 20 as Brewmaster Kirk Hillyard will be celebrating the launch of the 2012 Devil’s Slide Summer Ale. From 6-8 p.m., the community is invited for free food and beer tastings. The Summer Ale is a honey wheat beer brewed with 48 pounds of raw orange blossom honey from Santa Rosa. It is available from June – September.

The Half Moon Bay Brewing Company is located on Pillar Point Harbor overlooking the Marina and Princeton-by-the-Sea. Behind the restaurant is a huge beer garden and onsite brewery as well.

Located at 390 Capistrano Road in Princeton-by-the-Sea, the restaurant is open daily Monday-Thursday from 11:30-9:00, Friday 11:30-10:00, Saturday 11:00-10:00 and Sunday 11:00-9:00 with the bar closing an hour after the restaurant closes.
