Mix: James Teej's Frenetic Discourse Mix

Saturday, May 12, Fedora celebrates their birthday in the Public Works Oddjob Loft. Comprised of Michael Perry and Matt Wilder, the duo have been bringing SF some of its favorite flavors in tech house since they moved here from the Midwest some years ago. They hold down residencies at the mellow monthly Afterglow, but throw other parties, too. After their successful birthday celebration last year with the Wolf + Lamb vs Soul Clap booking, they’re doing it big again with one of My Favorite Robot’s producers and vocalist, James Teej, on the decks.

Toronto-based James Teej has a penchant for deep, smooth house and has the pop sensibilities to play out sets with added flair. To get a better taste of what he has to offer, check out his Frenetic Discourse mix from last year and get more information here. Support provided by Fedora, Mossmoss, and Jason Kendig.
