Birds & Batteries and an Albino Alligator Tonight at Nightlife

Analog digital blip-pop band Birds & Batteries is joining the wildlife at the California Academy of Science NightLife event tonight, in honor of International Migratory Bird Week. Birds, Batteries AND an albino alligator? This International Migratory Bird Week could not get any cooler.

Wait. It could get cooler.  If you head over to Birds & Batteries Facebook page and “like” them you will receive a download for their latest single “Epic Fail” from the UNFOLD EP.

Mike Sempert, Christopher Walsh & Jill Heinke have been putting out seamless electro-indie in the Bay Area for years now, and with each release they gain a stronger sense of self – redefining their sound and solidifying their position within countless genres and styles. Are they the chameleons of the bird world? Perhaps. But within those ever-changing fluctuations remains a steady hold on spectacular songwriting and polished structure. To be sure, the songs are alluring, but the delivery is brilliant. Get ready to be bedazzled.

Birds & Batteries play the “Birds of a Feather NightLife” at The California Academy of Sciences. Tickets are $12 ($10 for Academy members). NightLife takes place Thursday nights (6-10pm) at the California Academy of Sciences. Music, Creatures and Cocktails. 21+
