On the second anniversary of Guru’s death, LA’s DJ Syrehn pays tribute in the next of her Rest in Beats mix series.

With over 20 years in the game, Guru delivered unique hip hop as both a member of Gang Starr and solo through his Jazzmatazz series. DJ Syrehn’s mix captures an hour of Guru’s influential style as it lives on in music history.
