This Sunday, April 15, the Contra Costa College department of Food and Beverage will be hosting its fifth annual Food and Wine Event. It’s a great opportunity to taste some of the Bay Area’s finest foods, participate in auctions, and benefit higher education.

The Food and Wine Event will have tastings of local wines, chocolate and other fine foods available, including a pig roast by John Fink of The Whole Beast.  There will also be a designer cake walk and auctions hosted by Narsai David, plus culinary goodie bags.

Proceeds from the Food and Wine Event will benefit the Contra Costa College culinary program’s study abroad scholarships, as well as the Culinary Arts Management Department.

Tickets are available online for $35 and will be $40 at the door.
