What’s New To Munch On At AT&T Park?

Friday marks the start of the baseball season for the San Francisco Giants, as the team opens on the road against the Arizona Diamondbacks. And while the home opener is not until April 13, expect plenty of new items for fans who love a little ballpark food at AT&T Park.

Always known as having some of the best food options for a Major League Baseball stadium, perhaps the most exciting new option will be the Anchor Plaza & Tap Room, located in centerfield off the Promenade Level. The kiosk is designed after the Tap Room at the San Francisco brewery. Anchor Steam Draft, Liberty Ale, Old Foghorn and Summer Ale will all be featured along with a signature gin and tonic created with Anchor’s Junipero Gin.

The Bullpen Box, which is located adjacent to the Visitor’s Dugouts on the first base side of the park, has been transformed into the Corona Beach Club, giving fans a beach-like experience. The expansion of the bridge connecting the Promenade to the Coca-Cola Fan Lot is now Ghirardelli Square South, with sundaes and sweets served up daily.

The First Base Carvery will debut on the Promenade Level featuring sandwiches, salads, fruit plates and a dessert s’more creation. The Derby Grill has a new left field location, featuring it’s popular burgers and garlic fries.

The ever-popular Orlando’s Caribbean BBQ is offering a new Cubano sandwich.  Meanwhile, Field and Virgin America Club Level patrons will have an array of options, including Edsel Ford Fongs, where they can create their own rice bowls, Murph’s Pub, named for legendary Clubhouse Manager Mike Murphy, Joe Garcia’s, which will offer authentic Mexican fare and the Farmer’s Market stand on the Virgin American Club Level, which features locally grown items including hummus and pita, seasonal vegetables and grilled and marinated antipasti.

A new Snacksmart Program has been introduced, with healthy snack alternatives offered throughout the stadium. The popular Super Dog is now being supplied by Eisenberg meats, which will also provide a Field Roast Veggie Frankfurter. And AT&T Park is also offering value and combo meal packages, which can be found at most Doggie Diner locations.

As usual, options aplenty for fans at the ballpark this year.
