Monk’s Kettle Hosts Special Beer Pairing Dinner

Monk’s Kettle has long been known for having one of the best and most diverse beer lists in San Francisco. Now, they are pairing up with Santa Rosa-based Moonlight Brewing for a very special beer pairing dinner.

Held on Monday, March 19, the dinner, which still has a very limited number of seats available ($90 per person), will feature a reception, followed by five courses each paired with a specific beer.

Warm Iacopi farms fava bean salad, lemon zest,

5% abv – 4 grain lager

Seared diver scallops, fennel and apple risotto,

candied bacon, arugula vinaigrette

Uncle Olsen

5.5% abv – norwegian farmhouse

Third

Cavatelli, Devils Gulch rabbit sugo, herb crusted loin,

grilled ricotta salata

Twist of Fate

5.6% abv – english bitter

Fourth

Braised and grilled whole goat, crispy sweet potato,

smoked english peas, apricot marmalade

5.3% abv – american brown ale

Malted chocolate beignets, espresso granita,

soft cream

6.2% ABV – black lager
