This Saturday, local but nationally famous Mexican grill Papalote celebrates 13 years of deliciousness. The featured guest is no other than Maseo of De La Soul.

Maseo is a producer/DJ/MC of hip-hop group De La Soul, whom many have dubbed innovators of a new hip-hop sound, starting with their 1987 debut album 3 Feet High and Rising. You also might know him as the laughing voice in the Gorillaz “Feel Good Inc.” track. Maseo is currently working on his “DJ-Conductor” concept album, and will play his favorite mix of funk, soul, 80’s, old school and more Saturday.

Supporting Maseo will be Papalote co-owner and DJ Mr. E himself. Come out and celebrate the longevity of this great local business as well as dance the night away to a great selection of music.
