Event: National Pancake Day

When you wake up tomorrow morning craving pancakes, you’ll be in good company as tomorrow is National Pancake Day. You can either whip up a batch of your very own or you can head down to IHOP, where they’re giving away free short stacks of buttermilk pancakes. Yum.

For fifteen beautiful hours (7am -10pm), the International House of Pancakes restaurants around the country will be giving away pancakes in order to raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. For every short stack of buttermilk pancakes served on National Pancake Day, IHOP guests are invited to make a voluntary donation. Donations made at IHOPs in the San Francisco area will benefit the Children’s Hospital & Research Center in Oakland. IHOP hopes to raise $2.7 million this year.

So…they’re not exactly free per say, but the money does go to a good (and local!) cause.
