Bone Marrow Drive at E & O Trading Company

E & O Trading Company (314 Sutter Street) is hosting a bone marrow drive from 11am until 3pm this Saturday (2/25/12) afternoon.

Out of 9 million registered donors, more than a quarter are of diverse racial or ethnic heritage. Because of this individuals that are of Hispanic, Asian, Native or African descent are strongly encouraged to participate. Race and ethnicity affect matching, and given San Francisco’s rich and proud cultural landscape, our city is primed to make a positive and lasting impact on people who desperately need our help.

All are welcome, and if you’re between the ages of 18-60 and in good general health, all you’ll need to do is fill out a consent form and do a cheek swab (no needles involved) to join the national marrow registry. It couldn’t be any easier to be a lifesaver.
