Chomp 'N Swig on Clement Street

Richmond district residents now have another small neighborhood drinking establishment to hang out.

Richmond Blog SF gets the scoop that new pub Chomp ‘N Swig is now open for business. Right next door to 2011 sensation, delectable chicken wings and hot sauce purveyor, Hot Sauce and Panko. Chomp replaces Cafe Mereb, which closed in December.

The short menu features 4 sandwiches: spicy beef for $6.50, 12 hour slow cooked pork shoulder sando with Moho garnishes or BBQ sauce for $5.50, and a grilled cheese for $4.50. Plus a few bar bites: sundried tomato hummus with pita bread for $4, Mediterranean salad for $3, and $1 bagged potato chips. Since the place opens at 7 am, Cappuccino, Latte and Expresso drinks are also available for $2 to $2.75.

The beer menu lists more than a dozen bottled brands, and 4 drafts on tap: Red Tail, Blue Moon Belgian White, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, and PBR. Happy hour on Monday thru Friday from 3 to 7pm, $2-$3 draft beer. Open daily, bar closes at 9 pm, Thursday, Friday and Saturday until 11 pm.
