Theater Premiers: Forever Tango, How We First Met & More

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, this week’s hottest theater events include one steamy dance and two cupid’s arrow comedies.

This Valentine’s Day, Forever Tango kicks of their SF tour at the Commandants Room at the Marines’ Memorial Club. Starring Dancing with the Star’s Anna Trebunskaya, alongside 11 other world-class tango dancers, one vocalist and an eight-piece orchestra, Forever Tango will provide an evening of Argentinian passion through music and dance.

Also this Tuesday, the 12th annual Valentine’s show, How We First Met, takes the stage once more at the Marines Memorial Theater. In this improvised comedy, couples reveal the stories of how they met and then actors reenact the treasured moments — with artistic license, of course.

More Valentine’s laughs ensue at The Milk Bar for a special edition of The Eric Show with headliner and Last Comic Standing finalist, James Adomian. The evening’s opening comics include Jamie Lee, Ivan Hernandez and local funny guy, Vince Mancini.
