Theater Premiers: Santaland Diaries, Smuin Ballet LGBT Benefit & More

The week before Christmas holds a slew of holly, jolly holiday shows.

Back for it’s 10th year, David Sedaris‘ holiday comedy, Santaland Diaries, returns to Eureka Theatre this Thursday. To celebrate the 10th anniversary, there will be only 10 shows, running through December 30.

Also this Thursday, support holiday shows for a cause at the Smuin Ballet’s LGBT Benefit Night. Tickets include the pre-show reception with appetizers, cocktails and entertainment, as well as tickets to Smuin’s holiday performance at the YBCA Novellus Theater. $5 of each ticket sold will be donated to a local LGBT charity.

This Friday through Christmas (Sunday), the Kung Pao Kosher Comedy show returns for another traditional Jewish Christmas at New Asia Restaurant. Enjoy some Chinese eats and stand-up sets by four Christmas-loving Jewish comedians.
