One of my favorite parts of an IKEA field trip is the café stop at the end, and I know I’m not alone. The quick Swedish meals are such a hit that the megastore is hosting an all-you-can-eat buffet of their classics, all for $9.99.

On Friday, December 9, IKEA will be hosting the Swedish Christmas Julbord Celebration. The menu includes some of the regular items—meatballs, salmon—and a variety of other Swedish dishes such as liverwurst pate, Prinkskorv sausasage, Lussekatter and Glogg.

Seating is extremely limited but the Emeryville and East Palo Alto locations have seats available (the West Sacramento store, for example, is sold out.) The Emeryville dinner is 4pm until 8:30pm and the East Palo Alto store will serve dinner 4pm to 6pm and 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Tickets are $9.99 for adults and $2.49 for children under 12.
