Two more locations of innovative QR-code grilled-cheese chain The Melt are scheduled to open soon.
Jonathan Kaplan’s first San Francisco branch, which opened in August at 115 New Montgomery Street, has proven popular despite a higher price to value ratio and limited menu choices.
The debut of the second SF location is set for tomorrow Friday, November 4th, at One Embarcadero Center, on the Sacramento & Front streets side. The event will also celebrate a new addition to the menu: the Brie with Apple Butter Melt. Plus free sandwich and soup combos from 3 to 7 pm, but only available to those with the secret code. Shhh… don’t tell anyone. The secret password is: “Brie.”
Store number three will be located at 345 Spear Street, Suite 125, and opening day is scheduled for November 14. That means only 497 more stores to open around the country, according to Kaplan’s wish list. The next shop will open at Stanford Shopping Center, followed by locations in Portland, Seattle, Boston and New York.
