Since its opening in February, Straw has been delighting customers with its lighthearted carnival-inspired menu and atmosphere. If you missed out on visits to the County Fair or local high school carnivals as a kid, this Hayes Valley gem is a great throw-back to the days of Tilt-A-Whirls and gigantic stuffed animals. And now, Straw has announced their brand new catering branch, aptly titled Carny Catering.The menu features a huge selection of sliders, plus salads and other snacks. Whether you’re looking to bring food to your nine-year-old’s birthday bash or a friendly neighborhood block party, Straw has many delicious options with items like Bearded Lady, Joe’s Been Sloppy, Wagon Wheel and Hippie Love available.  Looking to do a breakfast party? No worries; you can get their infamous Jenga French Toast added to a customized menu. Heck, they’ll even do your wedding.  The staff at Straw know the folks in the biz all over town, so they can help introduce you to the perfect bartenders, venues and 80s cover bands to make your event a huge success.
