Having a Ball at Cocktail Week

It’s been an incredible week for mixology thus far, but the biggest event of them all is still ahead: The Legends Awards dinner and ceremony takes place tonight from 6:30 – 10PM at the Sir Francis Drake Ballroom (450 Powell Street) and there’s still a limited amount of tickets available.

If you’re looking for something fun and exciting to spice up your Saturday night, this glamorous gala is your best bet. Honoring many of the innovators of the Bay Area bar scene, the Legends Awards features a three-course dinner with cocktail pairings crafted by some of the best bartenders in the city.

Live entertainment will be provided in the form of musical performances and burlesque dancing. Several awards will also be handed out throughout the evening including recognition of Lifetime Achievement for Harry Denton–longtime socialite and an icon of San Francisco nightlife. Fittingly, the swanky, black tie optional affair will conclude upstairs at his newly-renovated Harry Denton’s Starlight Room with endless rounds of your favorite drinks, including a vast array of sensational spirits such as Rémy Martin V, Mount Gay Rum, Cutty Sark, Brugal Rum, Rémy Martin V.S.O.P, Highland Park Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Cointreau Orange Liqueur and Cointreau Noir.

The after party will continue for as long as California state law permits (2AM).

It takes a pretty penny to party at one of the city’s most exclusive events: tickets are available here for $175. But if you have the money to spend, it’s guaranteed to be a night to remember…
