Did you miss Burning Man this year? Don’t be discouraged, there are still remnants of the playa  floating around the city. Get ready to get knocked over the head with lots and lots of zany awesomeness brought to you by Chicken John Rinaldi.

Next Friday night on September 30th, Chicken John will celebrate the release of his first book, “The Book of the Is,” at 111 Minna with an explosion of visual art, live performances, music and dancing. The reception will feature cover art for the book created by 53 different artists in the gallery, a street performance by gore-obsessed group Art of Bleeding and music by Radio Valencia DJs. You can also get your picture taken in the photo booth, check out some giant sculptures and watch some awesome aerial acts.
