Chile Pies (& Ice Cream) Second Location Opening in the Castro
I’ve always taken pride in the fact that a little spot in my my neighborhood has won praise from the New York Times and Yahoo! Travel. I’m talking about Chile Pies (& Ice Cream), the little shop from the owners of Green Chile Kitchen up the street. But now, my hidden gem is multiplying with a new location opening up in the Castro tomorrow.
Chile Pies offers a wide assortment of sweet and savory pies, as well as pie shakes and Three Twins Ice Cream. You can try hearty options such as the green chile chicken pot pie or the classic New Mexican frito chile pie, or opt for a dessert choice such as green chile apple pie a la mode or another daily selection. If they have the pecan pie or the chocolate pie available, try those.
The newest location opens Friday, August 19th at 11am.
