San Francisco: America’s Dining Destination

The Bay Area dining scene received some well-deserved props yesterday from Huffington Post in recognition for having the most Michelin-stars of any city in North America. With a total of 18 stars and a population of under a million, SF has more than twice the amount per capita of New York. Incredibly, this doesn’t even include stars from legendary nearby restaurants such as Cyrus in Healdsburg (which will likely have 3 by the end of next year) and French Laundry in Yountville. So–in other words–if you’re into eating well, you’re in the right place.
