Glen Park Farmers’ Market Extends Season
One of San Francisco’s newest farmers market has extended its season through November.
The market, which debuted at the Glen Park BART parking lot on May 15, was scheduled to end its season in October. But because of its popularity, the market will stay open through November 20.
The market is open every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and organizers said there are currently about 1,200 customers a week.
The market is a partnership between the Glen Park Merchants Association, Pacific Coast Farmers‘ Market Association and BART. It is one of several successful neighborhood markets run by the Pacific Coast Farmers’ Association in San Francisco.
