It’s amazing that chef Elizabeth Falkner has time for anything right now.

Along with her duties at Orson, she has overseen the move of Citizen Cake to its current location on Fillmore Street and is now in the process of reorganizing the restaurant (including renaming it Elizabeth Falkner’s Citizen Cake, Ice Cream Parlor and Eats). You will also be able to see her compete on the Food Channel’s “The Next Iron Chef,” which begins airing in late October.

While at SF Chefs last weekend, Falkner said the redesign of Citizen Cake was something she really wanted to do, to make it “more like Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlor.”

She said the menu will look completely different and feature a number of “fun ice cream dishes.”

The transformation is expected to be complete later this month.
