Events are the name of the game this week in The Richmond. While Golden Gate Park and its environs will be overrun with The Outside Lands (note: Richmond residents who live parkside and park their cars on the street, do not move your car after Friday morning), there is still plenty to do for those of you who won’t be hitting up the music festival.

* Cliff House and Beyond Walking Tour…Get a history lesson replete with a view. After enjoying a continental breakfast at the Cliff House, explore the historical building and its environs this Saturday. For more, go here.

* San Francisco City Star Party at Lands End…Land’s End is the place to be this weekend (well, besides GG Park). The San Francisco Amateur Astronomers are hosting a star-gazing party on Saturday night in the area; hopefully the fog will have receded by then! For more, go here.

* Lindy in the Park…Shake, rattle and roll at the 15th Anniversary celebration of Lindy in the Park this Sunday. And bring something to share as it’s a potluck. For more, go here.
