La Ciccia has long been considered a neighborhood gem in San Francisco in the outer portion of Noe Valley. But now, it has received high praise as being one of the top Italian restaurants worldwide.

From the authentic Sardinian cuisine to the husband and wife team of Massimiliano Conti and Lorella Degan, the spot on 30th Street has held the hearts of many diners in San Francisco, whether it’s for a casual meal or special night out.

Now, Food and Drink Digital has listed the restaurant among the top 10 in the world for Italian cuisine.

Citing La Ciccia’s “take on classic pasta dishes (being) light and seaworthy,” the publication likes the “Mediterranean flavors and Wine Spectator-approved wine list.”
