Ladies and gents, it’s Friday. Your day job might be soul-sucking — but tonight, The Verdi Club has a better kind of soul for you. It’s time to dance.

A slew of local musicians from The Sandwitches, Fresh and Onlys, Sonny and the Sunsets, Hunx and His Punx, and others will grace the stage at the Mission club to pay homage to the best of 60s southern soul — from Ike and Tina Turner to Curtis Mayfield and Edwin Starr.
