A New Tourist Attraction Hits Justin Herman Plaza

If you see some people flying through the air at Justin Herman Plaza, don’t be alarmed. It’s just part of a summer partnership between the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department and Ziptrek Ecotours to provide a “different experience” for tourists and residents alike.

The two have partnered to create a zipline, which takes customers 750 feet across Justin Herman Plaza, giving people a unique view of San Francisco.  It runs daily from 11-7.

David Udow, co-owner of Ziptrek Ecotours, said the zipline is perfect for all age groups.

“Families and adventure seekers alike will be able to experience the thrill of ziplining in an urban environment,” he said in a statement.

The ride, which takes customers from one end of Justin Herman Plaza to the other, all while suspended 80 feet in the air, costs $29 to ride.
