Mashpot and Audyssey’s “The Neighborhood” come together on July 6th to support the Bay Area music and arts scenes. It’s is the second official Mashpot event, which focuses on bringing together members of the arts and music scenes in a collaborative multimedia setting, and the latest in Audyssey’s series.

The free event will feature performances from Anticon beat master Jel and Main Attrakionz, both from Oakland, and Aeropsia from San Francisco.

Adding a social-media twist to the experience, Mashpot is asking guests to break the ice with a “photo event” that encourages attendees to photograph each other and share the images with the Mashpot community online with Twitter.

Audyssey’s “The Neighborhood” is a video music series that focuses on highlight burgeoning artists and their neighborhood.

Mashpot starts at 7pm, and performances begin at 9pm.
