The Bay Can Bring Home the Bacon

“Coming soon to a street near you” is San Francisco’s very own bacon food truck. Featuring countless derivatives of the penultimate in pork products, Bacon Bacon SF is sure to please vegetarians and carnivores, alike. Just kidding about the vegetarians part, because this new addition to the ever-expanding street food scene is like PETA’s worst nightmare…on wheels!

The word on the street is that Bacon Bacon SF will make its debut at Off the Grid as early as next week. So it’s only a matter of days before locals can sink their teeth into the eponymous Bacon Bacon Burger with a side of dirty fries (pictured to the right) complete with a smattering of salty, savory pork belly trimmings. If that sounds too gratuitous for your squeamish desires you can always go light with the Bacon Broccoli Rabbe. But no matter what floats your boat, the socially conscious L.G.B.T. is sure to please–even more so if you’re into the lettuce, goat cheese, bacon and tomato combo for which this cleverly titled sandwich gets its name.

I don’t know about you, but all this talk about bacon…
