New Video: Kid Cudi “Marijuana”
A new video from indie hip hop artist and weed-lover Kid Cudi showcases his adventures at the Cannabis Cup in 2010, as seen through the lens of Transformers actor Shia LaBeouf.
Rapper Kid Cudi doesn’t hide his love for smoking cannabis. His first hit song “Day n’ Nite” told the tale of a “lonely stoner,” and the second single off his sophomore record Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager is simply titled “Marijuana.”
The video puts the obsession to film, starting out on American soil and traveling to Amsterdam for the annual weed-fest Cannabis Cup. Actor Shea LaBeauf directed, filmed, and edited the video which is rumored to be recorded solely using an iPhone. LaBeouf is also working on a short film for Cudi’s song “Maniac” to be released this fall.
