Hippo Celebrates Birthday at San Francisco Zoo
Visitors will get a chance to see Brian Wilson at the San Francisco Zoo this weekend. It’s just not the Brian Wilson they might be thinking of.
The zoo’s newest hippo, which was formerly known as Tucker, has been renamed “Brian Wilson” after the Giants closer and will celebrate his first birthday at the zoo on Saturday and Sunday.
He is actually turning eight. Zookeepers will be holding special feedings for the hippopotamus at 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. each day.
The hippo formerly resided at the Topeka Zoo in Kansas.
