Preview: Jackie Chan & Casey Veggies at 330 Ritch

Continuing their stream of up and coming Hip hop artists to grace the city at 330 Ritch, Above Ground SF has teamed up with The Hundreds to present their next show headlined by Jackie Chain, who is most famous for his song “Rollin” with Kid Cudi.

However, perhaps the story of this show is a young man named Casey Veggies, who is opening for Jackie. Casey has been putting in work for the past few years with a young artist named Tyler, The Creator — not as a member of Odd Future, but as a collaborator.

In addition to being featured on Tyler’s first album Bastard, not to name other Odd Future Mixtapes, Casey also has a few solo projects out and available for download. The most recent Sleeing in Class (2010) is a great hip-hop mixtape that utilizes a lot of pretty strings to accent a articulately creative flow that was enough to land him a spot on the Paid Dues concert a few months ago in San Bernardino. Make sure you check out the kid before the hype catches up with him.
