Four traveling pizza ovens and the chefs behind them will take their pizza-making skills to Coffee Bar on Friday night for a friendly competition: a pizza throwdown.

$12 gets you into the event from 6-9:30 p.m. It also gets you four pizza tasting tokens, one drink token and one voting token. There will also be a $12 whole pizza token.

The participants include James Whitehead of Fist of Flour, Naomi Crawford and Joel Baecker of Pizza Politana, Casey Crynes of Casey’s Pizza and Tom Gerstol of Copper Top Ovens.

The proceeds will be donated to a Japanese Tsunami Relief Fund.
