Spring is here and that means ardent gardeners are busy planting away. And what every garden needs for its flowers and veggies to grow is some good compost. And this Saturday Sunset Scavenger’s Recology is giving it away for free!

The Great Compost Giveaway will take place 8am – Noon on Saturday, April 16th at select locations in SF. All you need is a bucket!

And why exactly is this happening? This is what Recology had to say:
