Hot Ticket: TV on the Radio @ The Independent
Yep, another TV on the Radio Post. Why? Because their new album is better than 90% of the other releases you will probably hear this year, and the New York indie-rock giants are warming up for a long touring season intimate shows at The Independent this month. Pre-sale tickets go on sale at noon today.
If you are holding an AmEx card, you can buy tix through the venue’s website starting at noon. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait until noon Friday. TVOTR is gearing up for the release of its latest album, Nine Types of Light, on April 12th. Stream it free before it’s release via Rhapsody, and enjoy. The band really hasn’t missed a beat since 2008’s Dear Science, despite switching things up and relocating to a house in the Hollywood Hills to record the new album.
