As you probably already know, KUSF 90.3FM was abruptly removed from the airwaves back in January, and the student/volunteer-based staff (some of whom have been working at the station for over ten years) have been submitting petitions and holding events to keep college radio alive in the city.

Following the FCC’s recent denial of a petition to move the station’s transmitter to Marin, the Save KUSF folks held a launch party last week for the KUSF in Exile online stream taking up guest residence on New Jersey’s WFMU.

Tomorrow night DJ AmperDan and Milk Bar are hosting an all-local lineup benefit show featuring The She’s, Rad Cloud, and Sentinal. Tickets are $10, doors at 8, show at 10 pm.
