Jabbawockeez & The Bangerz Make MUS.I.C.

The Jabbawockeez dance crew, in collaboration with the Bay Area’s own Bangerz DJ crew, is unleashing JabbawockeezMÜS.I.C. today, a soundtrack for the dance crew’s Las Vegas show produced by the DJs.

The Jabbawockeez rose to national stardom after winning the MTV’s “Randy Jackson Presents Best Dance Crew” and later appearing on “Dancing With The Stars” and “So You Think You Can Dance” before settling into Las Vegas stage-show circuit. DJ Goldenchyld explained in a recent interview with SF Station how the two crews hooked up:

Jabbawockeez

“The Jabbawockeez and the Bangerz have been connected through music for a long while now. We put out an album called VI.R.US in 2001 and they were dancing to our music long before winning the title of America’s Best Dance Crew.

It started out as a loose affiliation and got more involved as time went on. We loved how they were able to put a visual to the music that we made, and they loved that they had something that was completely left from what everyone else was dancing to at the time. We began making custom music for them and then went on to score their show MUS.I.C. in Las Vegas. Go check them out at the Monte Carlo if you get a chance. The show is incredible. “

In addition to Goldenchyld, The Bangerz features Cutso, G-Wrez, Nick Ngo, Replay and Ca Square One. Listen to the first single, “Robot Remains,” which climbed to #7 on the iTunes electronic charts after its release late last year:
