Black-owned Wineries for Black History Month
February is Black History Month and in honor of this month-long celebration of African American culture and history, the restaurant 1300 on Fillmore has teamed up with four of the best African-American-owned wineries in the country to present a special menu for the month of February.
For Black History Month, Chef David Lawrence created a special menu (see below) and paired wines from several outstanding African-American wineries, including Brown, Esterlina and Everett Ridge Vineyards & Winery. Chef Lawrence’s included his own pinot noir, as well.
